Summary of Position:
The IREX Logistics Assistant, based in Erbil Iraq, is responsible for the smooth running of
the office, making sure that the office has everything it needs to run in an efficient manner.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Description of Responsibilities:
Work with Program staff to make sure they have the supplies they need for the
successful running of programs;
Work with Finance/Administrative staff to make sure they have the supplies they
need for the successful running of office;
Provide logistical support to Program and Finance/Administrative staff;
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the office building;
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the IREX vehicle
Responsible for maintaining and updating the IREX inventory system
Work with Finance and Administration Manager to develop guard schedules
Manage special projects at the IREX/Guesthouse as assigned;
Provides support and advice on and assistance in procurement of new supplies,
equipment for IREX projects, provision information on best options in local and
international markets,
Review of quotations and bids
Special projects as assigned;
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Good organizational skills
Strong computer skills, especially Excel
Prior experience working in an office
Good spoken English
Valid driving license
