expertise in more than 100 countries.
Summary of Position:
The Training and Outreach Coordinator for Erbil Iraq will be based in Erbil and will support
program operations and outreach efforts there. To better conduct program outreach, the ideal
candidate will have a strong network within Erbil’s NGO community, as well as various
government ministries.
Description of Responsibilities:
 Coordinating program outreach activities including identifying potential partners,
completing meeting summaries, and working with Technical Coordinators and Training
Assistant/Officers to develop Proposed Project Forms;
 Work with the Technical Coordinators and Training Assistant/Officer to ensure good
follow up activities with all training participants
 Assist the Technical Coordinators with the development of training materials;
 Collect program user statistics and produce reports as requested by IREX;
 Work with the Training Assistant/Officer to organize the logistical issues of trainings in
Erbil;
 Willingness and ability to travel to Baghdad, Basra, Beirut and/or Istanbul for trainings or
meetings a plus;
